Okay, I found the combo kit, and apparantly lack the coordination needed to do it, LOL! FAIL.

That''s me too dani, I just couldn''t get them on without crumpling them up and having them stick to themselves - it was like a double-sided-sellotape disaster!!!

I bought the french kit today and couldn''t rest until i tried them!
The first nail i did was tough. I had to keep watching that video they have on their site. lol. must be the sleep deprivation. It looked gross so i re-did it and it came out looking pretty acceptable!
I think i may doing them slightly wrong but thats ok. Anywho, it took me an hour

but I got them all on.
And they look amazing except that I think i put a little too much of the white part on.. but other then that they look wonderful!

Many thanks to upgradable for sharing!

I had to go out and buy one too! Easy to use, but took a lot longer than 5 minutes.

Here''s a shot with my new bracelet!

Glad to know it''s not just me! LOL!

Jelly, they look great!!!

I think they do take a little practice. I''m wearing my second set now. I must confess that my actual second attempt was a complete disaster and I had to take them off and try again. But that''s because I was using my own base and topcoat and I ended up with pink tips!

Now they really look pretty good. I''m going to keep practicing because it is still a whole lot better than paying for a $35 mani and having the tips chip after two days.

Keep trying ladies!!!!

Uppy, this happened to me too! I used the tips and put a pink based natural over it. Looked great after 1 coat. Then the second coat ruined it (the tips picked up too much pink and looked all streaky)! So I was gonna try again with just one coat of the natural over the white tips, and a clear coat over that.

Or should I do the natural pink first, then the tip on top of that, then a clear coat?

How are you doing it with just tips combined with liquid polish?!!! Waaaaaahhhhhh!

Erica, I did two coat of base (Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps) then put the tips over, and then did a clear coat on top. I have to say that although they look terrific, there has been more wear on the edge of the white tips than when I used the complete French kit.

hi ladies- my nails grew out and i was able to try these out. i think my french mani turned out pretty well. i messed up a couple of times and the white tip was crooked or too wide but it was easy to peel off and reapply. i bought the white tips only (used my own sheer color and top coat) and i''m happy with the outcome. saves a lot of $ compared to getting a mani at the nail salon! thanks for sharing upgradable! i''d use these again!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents...I''ve been wearing these for about 5 weeks (1 set a week). My nails have gotten
longer than they have been in a long time. They really make your nails strong (which mine were not). Mine are
so long now I am going to have to trim them. I like all the different colors except I''m not too keen on the one
I have on now. It is the lightest pink. I didnt realize it but it is opaque. Looks like little girls polish with little
pink sparkles in it. Not something I would normally wear but for this week...I''m wearing it! Here is a not so good
pic...I highly recommend these things for anyone who has problems with keeping nail polish on or having weak
nails (I have both problems).

i''m glad this post got the bump, because i''ve heard of these but never tried them. i tried doing my own french a few weeks ago and failed miserably. i couldn''t find the stupid strips, and when i did, i had the worst looking claws ever.

there''s a walgreens on my way home from work. looks like i''m making a pit-stop!

OK I had to run back to this thread because...... I tried them tonight.

WONDERFUL.

I tried the DIVA color (and bout 3 others too) and I just love it

Thursday, I got a "luxury pedi" with a regular mani. My pedi was shorter than the person next to me who had a regular pedi. My mani was awful. It chipped like crazy and I was just p.o.

SO tonight I remembered this thread and HAD to go to walgreens. I found them and put them on at 12am. haha. THESE ARE GREAT! Pretty darn easy and look way better than the chipped mani and pedi that I spent way too much on. These were $6 a piece, though cheaper on the website.

I love em.
