Do I need a wedding band?

Hi,
Does anyone know if it''s necessary to wear a wedding band? We''re spending so much on the engagement ring that I don''t think there will be much left for a wedding band. Is this tacky?

I don''t think it is necessary to wear a wedding band, but people have differing oppinions.

Tacky? NO WAY!! I''ve seen many women wearing only their e-ring. There is nothing wrong with that. It''s whatever works for you. There is no strict rules to this. And besides, if you ever want to add a band later on... you can get a real nice one vs. just getting one now for the sake of having one.
