I asked if we could do two tone- shank in YG and shields in platinum. I also asked if we could add some diamonds in the shields! We’ll see what he says!

The 2.5 is actually more marquise shaped imo, a bit narrower and more elongated....whereas the 3.0 is bubbly and has more converage. Neither is bad just depends on your preference.

Though one thing i might suggest that i JUST noticed ... and is totally subject to your preference is that if you like more marquise shaped...instead of two prongs at the tips ask him to do the v caps to hold the tips in for more stone security. Attached a picture of what i mean...just maybe a touch thinner than the pic.

I like the 3mm. Looks less crowded for lack of better description, if you want to emphasize the Marquise I think the V caps Metall suggested will be more effective highlighting it. So excited for you!

I REALLY like the way that the scalloped edges on this ring look more like gentle rolling hills or waves vs the harsher cut scalloped edges!

I wanted all my cluster pieces to be like that. I'm too old to rock the daisy look, and wanted something gentler, while still being a definite cluster. My pendant is the same, and my earrings are being remade to have the same look.

Got it this afternoon! I love love love it. It is much better in person. I nearly cried when I put it on my hand.

I have been enjoying it very much and am so pleased with David’s work.
