Difference between Old Mine Brilliant and Cushion?

What is the difference between an old mine brilliant and a cushion? I have noticed that when asking vendors for cushions, I am also receiving certs for "old mine brilliants?" Just trying to understand the difference...Thank you!

In a nutshell - all old mine brilliants are cushions, but not all cushions are old mine brilliants... you're getting a lot of certs that say that because it is currently a very popular type of cushion cut diamond.
