Difference between 1.0 and 1.25

Just curious, how much of a difference in size is there between a 1.0ct and 1.25ct diamond? Visually, does the 1.25ct look much bigger?

Yes, you will be able to tell the difference between a 1.0 carat stone and a 1.25 carat stone.

General rule is that you can detect differences of 20% or more... which this is.

Yes, you can definitely see the difference.

it is not the 0.5mm you see it is the larger surface area - 32.8mm squared vs 38.5mm squared.
So there is a 17% increase in percieved size.
You should expect to pay a 10% premium - 1.1 x 1.25ct = 1.375 times more cost.
