Difference between 0.88 and 1ctw noticeable in RB studs?

Thanks to you all, I am now the proud owner of 0.84 ctw BGD signature studs! I will have to post picts soon! Special shout out to Stargurl for her inspiration--mine are in the 8-prong wg settings and are just stunning.
I showed them to my mom and she is now bitten with the PS cut bug after she saw the performance of my diamonds. I am looking to get her a new pair of studs for the holidays, 1 ctw or thereabouts. My questions are (a) would a difference in diameter of 0.48 mm vs 0.51mm be noticeable in studs and (b) what to choose: GIA XXX with HCA <2.0 or AGS0 sig HA diamonds, both graded same color and clarity by the two labs?

Aww thank you so much for the shout out!!! But um... WE NEED PICS!!!!! Yours sound like they could be twins to mine, what are the color and clarity specs on yours?

I wouldn't think that the difference between 0.48 and 0.51 mm would be that noticeable but I am no expert. I think for studs GIA XXX or AGS0 would be perfect choices!

I just checked with some colored stones in my collection, and yes, I could detect .03 difference in diameter in the unset stones. However, the difference is very slight, and I doubt I could see it in set stones, and certainly not in set stones worn in the ears.
