Did you regret changing your setting?

Ok. I have a technical question about 3 stone rings. Most that are set with the sidestones tilted seem to reflect a darker center stone even when all stones are the same color. I’ve gone back to look at many threads and that seems to be the case. I showed the pics to hubby and his theory is that this is because of the tilt. Does anyone know what I’m talking about? Do you guys see what I see? Any theories? If you own a 3 stone, does this bother you?
