Did I Pick a Dud? Help w/ Round Diamond

Hello - I purchased the below diamond, which looks beautiful face up, but when tilted to the side, appears to show some shadows (pics below). This stone supposedly hits all the technical specs for light performance, so I am a bit surprised. Did I just end up with a dud stone?

Looks like girdle reflection. You can see it in the loose video too it just looks white. Now that it’s in a dark bezelled setting the reflection looks black. Can you post the lab report?

How does it look when you don’t look at it at a very steep angle?

OP said it faces up beautifully. I'm wondering if this is just something diamonds do at steep angles?

There is jewelers rouge inside the bezel. It needs a thorough strong ammonia dish detergent and boiling water clean.
if you can get a bench jeweller with a powerful steam cleaner that will help - or even a commercial cappacchino steamer!
