In a nutshell, I bought a stone from Blue Nile. The gemologist liked it and said it was "full of life". I opted to have it sent right from Blue Nile to the setter (in the interest of time).
Did I make a mistake? The first time I'll actually see the stone is when I receive the finished ring. I'm essentially trusting the Blue Nile gemologist that the stone is a winner. (also, I have no frame of reference, so I couldn't be a very good judge even if I did see it myself).
Thoughts?
