Hey Everyone,

Sorry to bug you again with another final decision, but my brother is also proposing to his girlfriend this year and is looking ot buy a diamond and would love your help with making this choice.

Here are the diamonds that he has selected that are on hold until tomorrow:

0.60 G VS1

Gemologist Comments: I'm pleased to share that diamond 1514906 (0.60crt G VS1) is bright and has very nice light performance. It's eye clean, has a true "G" color, and out performs your other options. It's our gemologist's favorite of the bunch and I highly recommend it for your diamond purchase.

0.60 H VVS2

Gemologist Comments: Has a warmer "H" color and the crushed ice appearance.

0.63 G VS2

Gemologist Comments: Shape is more square as well as a glassy look.

The gemologist found diamonds 1511701 (0.63crt G VS2) and 1510232 (0.60crt H VVS2) a little less impressive because they appear a little dark in the center.

This is the setting, http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/pave/14k-white-gold-pave-halo-diamond-engagement-ring-17309w14.html

Thank you for all of your help

Based off the fact there's more red.

Of the choices listed, #1 is the best choice. That's not to say it's the best choice for his budget at JA, but of the three--1 is the best.

Would you be willing to suggest something you think is better? I honestly don't know his exact budget, but think he is looking to stay under $1800 with the stone and at a $3000 total (tax in @ 8%).

Please remember these diamonds are only on hold until tomorrow at 11 am eastern time.

Looks great with the setting.

I agree with the others that the 1st option is the best one. Can't wait to see your ring, you must be very excited! Post photos when you can! =)

My brother ended up going with the .60 G VS1 and loves it. He was worried it would be a little small, but with the halo setting it really does look great.

Thanks for all of the help.
