diamond stud help: color, clarity, etc.

I am trying to decide between 2 pairs of 1 ctw round diamond studs earrings:

First is color I, SI1, cut very good

Second is color H, SI1, cut excellent

There is a $600 price difference between the 2 pairs-the first being the least cost.

What do you think?

Well, it depends - on your color sensitivity, your skin tone, and your budget. A lot of people wouldn't be able to detect the difference between "I's" and H's", especially looking at them straight-in (as opposed to viewing them from the side), which is how most people will see your earrings when you're wearing them. That said, "I" is my go-to color for stud earrings: I have three pair of "I" studs, and I've given a pair as a gift. So my recommendation would be - use that $600 you'll save as seed money for your next bling project!
