Hi,
This is my first time using this forum, but I have learned a lot from reading. I've recently been searching for a loose diamond in the 1.4-1.5 range to be placed on a setting which I already have chosen for the engagement ring for my gf.
After considerable research, I have come across a diamond through a local broker which seems like a good deal. However, I don't have anyone to ask for a second opinion, hopefully someone here can help me out. The salesman has stated that the diamond is 100% eye clean, and a deposit is required to bring the diamond in for my viewing.
Diamond Specs:
GIA Certified
1.40 Carat Round Brilliant
H Colour
SI1 Clarity - 100% Eye Clean
Excellent Cut
Excellent Polish
Very Good Symmetry
No Fluorescence
Depth 62.3%
Table 57%
Depth 62.3%
Crown Angle 36.5
Pavilion Angle 40.6
7.10mm x 7.18mm x 4.45mm
*Laser Inscribed on Girdle
Price: $10 400 CAD
I have also attached a picture of the inclusions from the GIA report, I don't know much about what to look for in this area.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks,
Paul
