In one week, I discovered two news names in the lab-grown diamond industry:

- Diamond Foundry (Leonardo DiCaprio invests in the company) https://www.diamondfoundry.com/
- Generic Diamond and a crazy concept http://genericdiamond.com

Is it the beginning of the diamond industry revolution?

Both websites are absolutely ridiculous. One you have to sign up for crap before you can even look at what they're selling and the other is some sort of joke BS love diamond website. No thank you.

Hi Bert,

Diamond Foundry looks to me like another CVD brand. Although they describe things in the most glowing and revolutionary of terms, they don't actually say much that's different from their competitors like d.nea and puregrown. They've been making a lot of noise in the press lately, and the press seems to be sucking it up in the hopes of a scandal the way they usually do, but when you drill down to what they actually do or even say they do, it looks like they've collected a bunch of money from Mr. DeCaprio and others, and otherwise not done much.

The other one is slightly clever advertising, I suppose, but they aren't claiming to be any different in terms of the product either. What's revolutionary about cute packaging with obscure drug references?
