Ok, I stayed up way too late after Round 2 but I think I've landed on 3 nice options. Could you guys please give your thoughts on these? Setting will be a very simple platinum 2mm solitaire. I'm open to suggestions on stones from vendors besides BN if you feel these stones aren't a good value or there's something better out there. THANKS AGAIN!!

Edit: I'm leaning towards option 3 due to the pretty significant difference in cost, but I am not opposed to options 1 or 2 if the cost increase is buying not just a larger diamond but a "better" one.

Option 1: Round, 2.03ct, H, VS2, XXX, HCA = 2 "Surface graining is not shown" per GIA but the 360 view looks very clean

Option 2: Round, 2.01ct, H, VS2, XXX, HCA = 1.4 within TIC, my main concern is the crystal on the table but I still think it would be eye clean?

Option 3: Round, 1.90, H, VS1, XXX, HCA 1.9 within FIC, Medium Fluoro. "Additional clounds and pinpoints not show" but should this be a concern given the VS1 grading and the clean appearance on the 360?

Hi DD, number 1 for me, it looks great. Surface graining not shown is only mentioned for completeness, shouldn't be an issue at all.

Number 2 I'd pass on, I don't like the proportions as much.

Number 3 has potential but I prefer the first, this one's a tad deep. No concerns with the pinpoints and clouds in this clarity grade shown or not shown.

Yup, I'll pick #1 too. Agree with my Brit GF...

Thanks guys! Still open to any other feedback from others!

Another though Lorelei and Dancing Fire...anything about option 1 stand out that would make you feel I should keep searching for a different diamond?

No, it's a beautifully cut stone and it should be a stunner. Really there's only one more step up from this diamond and that's a branded Superideal like Whiteflash ACA, Brian Gavin Signature and so on. The table is 58% whereas the preferred is no more than 57% for a 'Super' but you'll never notice the difference. Everything works well together, H colour and VS is a quality combination, it's all good.

No worry it is a very nice stone! H VS2 is a nice mid range combo. Don't be so picky like I am..

Thanks for the help both of you. I did it! I'll circle back next week with a pic!

You don't mess around, many congratulations, you picked a superb diamond!:appl:

I love it when analysis paralysis finally ends and there is a moment of clarity and action. Congrats @DD12345

All the way to #1 :saint:
