Can anyone give me some advice on the following:
I am considering 2 stones and am trying to figure out their relative value.
They are both G VS2
1 looks like this:
Depth % 61.1
Table % 55
Crown an. 34.6
Pav. an. 40.9
Culet 0
Polish and symmetry are both excellent
I am told these numbers yield an AGS(0).
The second stone is
Depth % 58.4
Table % 57.8
Crown An. 34.7
Pav. An. 40.1
Culet .9
Polish and symmetry are both Very Good.
I am told these numbers yield an AGS(2).
The first stone winds up costing ~10% more per carrot, and I am wondering if this is worthwhile. For whatever its worth, (and I really have no idea what its worth in terms of objective value), the HCA likes the second stone better, giving it Excellent scores down the board and a total score of .1, while the AGS(0) stone gets Excellent light return, but only very good's on the other factors, with an overall score of 1.3.
If anyone can offer their thoughts I'd appreciate it.
