Here you go. Bear in mind you can''t judge colour accurately on a computer monitor, but work through these pages and it may help!Date: 4/22/2008 10:10:57 AM

Hi! How is everyone?
DiamondSeeker2006 just had a thread comparing diamonds side to side by size...does anyone have anything comparing color? I have read you really need to see the stones in person, but just to get an idea....
Thank you!

Can a J color stone sparkle just as much as a D color stone, let''s say they are both ACA diamonds
I photographed a friend''s J stones and they looked SO much warmer in the pictures than they appear in real life. It really drove home how unreliable pictures are for judging color.

I agree with this; I would go check them out in person. Each person has a color preference so it is interesting to see what each person feels ,yanno.Date: 4/22/2008 11:06:35 AM

Golden, if you''re trying to determine how color sensitive you might be, I''d suggest finding a fine jeweler locally (not the chains, but a fine jeweler) and go to see some stones in person. Pictures aren''t at all accurate is illustrating how different colors look because the camera picks up color far more readily than the human eye does.
