Diamond bullion mellee for investment? yay or nay?

I2 diamonds? They're junk and common. These melees are probably scraps and leftovers from diamond cutting.

Probably better suited for industrial use than for investment or jewelry.

Not melees and definitely not I2 quality.

Written as someone who does invest in diamonds for a living:
Any dealer advertising diamonds for an investment that does not detail the detriments of diamond investment for consumers is leaving a blind spot for consumers.
While it's true that diamond prices have increased substantially over the past five years, consumers need to buy retail- but if they need to sell, they will be selling well below wholesale.
And that would be if they bought larger high quality diamonds.
I2 melee's are scrap.

The "diamonds as investments" question comes up at least once a week, astar... and the response pretty much never changes. :wink2:
