Mara, the site that pic came from says it is indeed a blue diamond!

The pair of pears either have some sort of artifact in the photo--or was photgraphed inadvertantly with some fuzz appearing to connect them like a pair of mittens would be to fit inside a child''s coat.....struck me odd as it was beautiful......
