DH got a raw deal

DH was approached by a company for a job. The CEO of his company is on the board of the new company so DH told them that he would want to be the one to tell the CEO, not them. They said ok. He didn''t want his current company to think he was looking (he wasn''t). So a few days later, they called back and said they are not going to interview him after all because of the CEO being on their board. This is so unfair to DH but I totally understand why they are doing it. DH works REALLY hard and this would have been a HUGE career advancement for him and now he won''t be able to do it. I am so bummed for him. He is bummed too but he is trying to be positive about it, which is another reason I love him so much.

I want to cry.
