I''m not going to make it! My daughter has dress rehearsals for her musical, and hubby came home last night to tell me he has to be out of state Thurs-Sat for business.

Hello, Ladies - quick update from John . . . this is going to be sooooo fun!

I spoke to our man at the World Trade Center. He is going to meet the group
and walk all of us in on Saturday, so I don't need exact names which is
easier. He reminds me that you will only have access to the jewelry floor,
and that some jewelers will not be open - but you will be able to see his
shop as well as several others. Even better, he has told me that once he's
met the people in the group they can contact him in the future to schedule
return trips. I will either meet you earlier, or at the WTC.

UGH bad news!! So, I requested this Saturday off at my new job (a bridal boutique)... Unfortunately there are only 3 employees including the owner. Since the other girl has worked a month longer and requested it off forever ago, I can''t make it!

I AM SO BUMMED!! I figure my first two weeks is not the time to be trying too hard to get out of work, so I will have to miss out. I''m so sorry, I really was looking forward to meeting you all!
