Hi all! 
So I'm having a memorial ring made in honor of my grandfather with gold he left me. I have a collection of small stones (all under .50ct) that I've collected over the years. I have the ring pretty much designed, but I'm a little unsure on two aspects.
One: the center marquise stone. I definitely want some type of scroll work on the profile sides and am limited with space due to the small size of the diamond (.29), but I feel like what I have is boring. Thoughts?
Two: The pink/purple diamond. I want to do something special in regards to how it's set, but all I can think of is miligrain edging. Any ideas?
Now, overall I know my taste is very specific and not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm okay with that. I LOVE floral/antique looks/designs.
I'm having a set of matching earrings made as well, but I'm pretty satisfied with the design.
I'm attaching pictures of the loose stones (pears for the earrings not in the photo); and my very rough sketches of the designs (I'm no artist). And a photo of my wedding set which was also custom made to give you a better idea of my style.
Any input is appreciated, thanks!!
P.S. I'll be working with the same jeweler who did my wedding set, so I'm familiar with them and have a basic sense of what they can accomplish.
