Greetings:

First time post here and I have a quick question about depth...

Based on this limited info:

1.43 carat
Depth 62.9
Table 57
Med Girdle
7.13-7.19x4.46

Can anyone out there tell me if it seems to be cut a little too deep? Sorry if the answer is obvious... I am looking to make a purchase and was completely oblivious to all the finer points of diamonds that I should know when making an informed purchase... THANKS IN ADVANCE!!

sorry, let me add that this is a round cut, if that helps. i have not viewed the sarin report although it is availabe if need be... any help/insight would be much appreciated!

btw, symmetry is GIA excellent.

It looks a tad deep, but could still be an incredible diamond. Did you happen to get the crown and pavilion angles?

Wink

As a reference, I just bought a 1.32 and the size was 7.12-7.14 so that diamond is small looking for it''s size.

ah, thanks for the comparison. probably be passing on this one as i suspected the same. too bad though, havent come across too many vvs1/E ''s so far...

thanks again,
b

Most people here say that if it looks good buy it regardless of the proportions.

to some people all diamond looks good ,even (ugly cut) mall stones.

so true... that''s the hard part. knowing im paying for a diamond that looks smaller than it is hard to take mentally... even though it''s beautiful.
