Another thread talked about, with depth over 62, the diamond might be losing brilliance. I'm looking at a 1.5 F VS1 with the following cut:
Depth: 62.4
Table: 53.5
Crown: 35.3
Pavil: 40.3
Culet: .8%
The HCA reads all excellent, except for spread (VG) -- .5 overall (TIC).
Any thoughts? I'm a little concerned b/c depth is outside ideal cut range -- but obviously HCA says it looks good.
How would this compare to a stone with all proportions perfect per AGS and GIA, that also scores well (.5 to .7) in HCA? The same, or possibly worse?
