Delicious French cut and OEC diamond earrings!!

Today I received my first OEC diamonds - a pair of earrings with OEC and French cut diamonds by Jewels by Erica Grace. I LOVE these earrings. Here is a vendor photo and a not-so-great photo of me wearing them to give an idea of scale. Wow, I just love everything about these - the sparkle and the color and the clarity were all do well described by Grace who answered my additional questions (since I recently had a not-so-great experience with another internet vendor). 1.30 ctw --- .94 OEC and .36 French cut diamonds.

Anyways, I love love love my new earrings and I think they go really well with my other jewelry!

I was considering larger diamond studs, but as you can see I think these look pretty big in the bezels --- which I LOVE! Here is a shot with my Tiffany jazz necklace - I think they look like a set with it!

Comparing the french cuts to the emerald cut in the Tiffany necklace - the frenchies aren't so much sparklier, but they just have an extra something with the faceting -- maybe 'depth' lol, like you'd say someone has 'depth.' They look vintage but not fussy - sleeker if you will.

They must be about that given the ctw. Here is some info from JBEG - "Earrings measure 14mm in length, OEC's are approximately 5.5mm inside of the bezels, 6.75mm to the outside of the bezels." I really like how the diamonds are open in the back of the bezel, letting light in.

Wow those are spready for OECs, most half carat stones I have seen are in the 4.8mm to 5.2mm range! Very very nice.
