After wearing my 7 stone anniversary band & my channel set band together around the house for a few days (on my pinky btw) my 7 stone is STILL not resized yet (I will get into that later.) I decided I do not like them to much together. I didn't want to keep the channel set band because I honestly wouldn't wear it on my right hand (not my style but lovely on others!) So I decided to sell it since it was past the return time.
Now, although I love my plain band (plain 10k yg band 2mm) I didn't want my band to be completely plain. So I am waiting patiently (or trying to be patient) for my new custom piece off Etsy! Its a 14k YG tree bark band! I love it so much & cannot wait till it arrives! I have to give them time to make it before they send it out so it may be around 2 weeks or so. But I will come back with pictures!
On to the resizing. SIGH
The jeweler that is right in town said it will take anywhere from 2-4 weeks because they have to send it off. The jeweler (that I know & trust & always work with) lives in another state but only takes 1-2 days to do resizing depending on how busy they are. It is only an hour away but I am to busy to make the trip & am deciding if its worth sending off or not. My husband & I will be going out of town this weekend for two days & with that I just don't know when we would be able to make it to the jeweler an hour away. Decisions Decisions. What would you ladies do? Wait & see if I can squeeze it in next week when we return home or just walk across the street (literally) & have it sent off & know it will be here within 2-4 weeks.
Anyways back to the new ring.......... Here are some photos! This one is 2.6mm wide but they are making mine at 2mm wides. We will be getting my husband one done in 4mm wide soon to match! (& here is the seller http://www.etsy.com/people/cjmckay?ref=ls_profile ) He has amazing "earthy" rings! & I am all about the outdoors so it fits me perfectly!
& For those who are clueless about my other rings. My husband recently bought me a beautiful 7 stone marquise ring. I had a plain wedding band & wanted to see what a diamond band would look like. So we got a channel set band to go with it. I liked it alot at first but once I wore it around the house for a while with my 7 stone band (on my pinky for crying out loud haha) I realized it was to much together for my taste. So with that being said I was on my search again for the perfect wedding ring. & I do believe the tree bark band is it!

So I bought a plain 2mm tungsten band to wear for those sports. Then when I found this awesome tree bark it just matches my lifestyle so well, the scratches wont show as bad & I can wear it while doing these things I love, I just couldn't pass it up!
