I am currently thinking about getting a set of 2 ctw - 3 ctw round LGD studs from Whiteflash or IDJ. I had previously contemplated buying separate LGD rounds and having them set but think I'd rather just buy them already matched and done. IDJ has the more attractive price point but I wonder if I will regret forgoing the opportunity to get a set of Whiteflash quality studs. Has anyone bought from one or the other or any other source that they would recommend? I'd appreciate any feedback that would help me make a decision.

I'll throw another idea out. I have studs from Lightbox, Luvansh and from StarsGem from a Reddit group buy. Honestly, for ears, I only cared about general sparkle and coverage. You can probably do better price wise if you are open to other vendors even if the specs aren't perfect.

I bought a 2 carat round pair from Luvansh for $399 in 14kt. They are fabulous for the price.

But your wants may be different.

Thank you for responding! I am open to purchasing from other vendors but wasn't sure how to vet the cut. While I do not need ACA quality cuts, asymmetry visible to the naked eye would bother me.

I have both lab and natural from IDJ, and natural ACAs from WhiteFlash. If price was no object, I would go with WhiteFlash for the studs (mind-clean reasoning). However, the IDJ Pricescope quality cuts are excellent. ACAs edge them out visually, but only when I compare them next to each other. For earrings, you can probably give yourself leeway since they are viewed from a different angle and distance than rings.
