hi pricescopers....new to the forum but really glad I discovered this wonderful community.
I've decided on lab-grown and want to go for an extremely high quality pink diamond. Saw a thread with some different lab choices but Puregrowndiamonds (PGD) seemed like they were the most reputable and had the most choices.
My criteria are the highest quality stone I can get above 1ct (so I've narrowed down to the 3 below due to the Ideal or Excellent cut grades, and Ex or VG symmetry/polish on all). Price is not as important as quality for me.
PGD has these three choices that met my quality standards and were above 1ct:
1.33ct Intense VS1, Ideal - http://certificates.puregrowndiamonds.com/LG10141401.pdf
1.30ct Deep VS1, Ex - http://certificates.puregrowndiamonds.com/LG10152810.pdf
1.32ct Vivid VS2, Ideal - http://certificates.puregrowndiamonds.com/LG10191102.pdf
If an expert or two could chime in here I would be eternally grateful.
My SO loves purple and the 'Deep' choice above indicates 'Purplish Pink' as the exact color grade.....however will the 'Deep' choice sacrifice fire for color? Fire is really important to me as well - love the sparkle
What got me thinking twice about the 'Deep' choice is this stone from Lebish: http://www.leibish.com/pink-diamond/108ct-fancy-deep-pink-radiant-vs2-172746-22308 - from the pictures, it looks _very_ deep, almost brownish vs. pink....is this what I can expect from Deep Pink?
Also - is there any way to actually see PGD diamonds in person, short of buying all 3 and returning the two that I don't choose?
I'm new to diamonds and trying to do lots and lots of research - however nothing can replace years of experience, which is why I humbly turn to all of you for some additional advice!
Thank you guys so much in advance for any help and insight you can give me.
