hey girl!

sorry i''m coming in late everyone....

me and the pup are home alone (boy''s night) so i thought i''d catch up on some PS and bling and i saw the debate thread....

although, i don''t know if i can hold myself back the more i drink and the longer this goes on...

is it just me but is this already taking on the ''na naa na na na, i''m better than yooooouuuuu'' tone?

it is just me... i understand, it''s a debate......

Ok, Irish businesses only pay 11% because of the ENORMOUS subsidies they get from the EU.

MCCAIN JUST SAID "MY FRIENDS"! EVERYONE DO A SHOT!!!

Nah, it''s not you.

Us PS''ers have high standards and neither candidate are meeting our standards right now!!

Okay, Mr. O is making me mad just because he thinks it''s okay to call McCain "John" while McCain is addressing him and referring to him as Senator Obama! That''s a whole lot of tacky! Disrespectful in the extreme.

Oooooh - tax health benefits?

I can''t watch as well as I would like...I still have to watch the kid...who for once I am letting look at TV. Start educating her early.

Hard to blog and watch the kid and watch the debate and drink wine.

Hi, Holly!

Well, they are both senators, and I guess that makes them co-workers. I don''t call my co-workers Mr. or Mrs. So-and-so.

I think it makes McCain just sound uptight. Maybe he doesn''t know how to pronounce "Barack"? LOL!

Grrrrrr, neither of them answered the first dang question. Politics!!!! Grrrrr......
I hope both of them stop positioning and just get real....
I noticed that too. Can we get around the rhetoric already? I am expecting too much, aren''t I?
Yes. You are.

Obama''s pointing at the moderator and interruption is driving me crazy.
Lawyer, anyone?

At least he hasn''t said "um" yet.

And to end it on something good:
He is able to form his thoughts very well.

Honey, they aren''t exactly colleagues. Haven''t worked together long enough. But, nevertheless, in this medium, they should be formal and polite . . . while they are beating each other up.

I think that it makes Senator McCain appear as though he is not on even ground. Why is he afraid to say "Barack"? They probably call each other by their first name all the time while in the halls of Congress. But then again, maybe not. Interesting catch. I didn''t even notice it. I don''t usually think in terms of heirarchy though, so I can see how it went unnoticed by me.
