David Klass pave/melee quality?

I've been searching through DK threads and I see a lot of engraved, art deco, antique looking jewelry but not a lot of delicate pave rings.

I was wondering if anyone could speak to the quality of his pave work and maybe even post pictures if you have a ring with a pave band that he made.

I am considering him for a thin 1.8-2.0mm with v-cut pave ring and would like to know the quality of his pave work before proceeding.

I am not familiar with David Klass' work personally but I am curious too, so hopefully someone will be able to help. I know you were considering BE too. I would compare both of their Facebook pages and see if that helps. I have worked with BE and they do great work! I completely understand the cost difference though!

BE has lots of engagement rings on their Facebook to show off their pave work. I've been having a hard time finding e-rings in the style I am wanting from DK. However, the pave work that I have been able to find online from DK looks good. I feel pretty confidant that he will be able to pull off what I am asking for. The price difference is a big deciding factor for me because I went over budget on the diamond, so now I don't feel as guilty about that since I will be under budget for the setting.

I hope more PSers can weigh in on DK's pave work and show me their DK pave!!

I love my DK eternity band. If you are looking for pave with very little metal a la Leon Mege, you will be disappointed. It had more metal versus my Tiffany metro band. His bright cut pave looks great though. The micro pave has a teeny bit more than LM or SK.

The rose gold band is DK and white gold is Tiffany.

Do you mind sharing your ring size and the mm width of the bands?

Do you have any pictures of it from a side angle?

Both rings are 4.5. The white gold metro is super thin, about 1.4 mm. The Rose gold DK one is roughly 1.8mm. I'll see if I can get some profile shots.

I think I am leaning towards going with DK.

I'm just waiting to hear back from him on what alloy he uses in his 18k WG. He must be really busy because I haven't heard back since Sunday!
