I would drop the center diamond down lower and call it a day. I don't think you need to downsize.

I agree. My J would appear more tinted if it were set higher. Also, I think you may like the size more if it were lower.

I agree with this completely. With the stone sitting lower, I don't think the size would seem as overwhelming to you as it might now.

I agree & I think I will take the ring to the jewler in Bogota and I will talk to my fiance about this. I slept on it & I think he would be sad if I changed the ring in any way, but lowering the setting doesn't seem to bad...so we will see what happens.

Does anyone know how much it would cost to lower the setting on a ring?
