Custom Pendant (remodel part 2)

Some of you may have seen my previous thread where I had a pink sapphire put in the platinum Claude Thibadeau ring that I wear on my right hand. I had my local jeweler make this pendant out of the 1.0 carat G SI2 diamond that was previously in that setting. He surrounded my stone with ten ideal cut F/G VS diamonds that total .75 carats. They are bead set around the center stone with a bezel around the outside. The setting is 18 kt.white gold with a closed back and the chain runs through the mounting. It turned out to be pretty big (about 11mm) but I love the way it looks and since I have pretty large studs (2.5 carats total) I think it compliments them well. It is a real sparkler and these pictures don''t do it justice. Hopefully I can take some outside when we have sun again.

Ohhhhhhhhh, it''s amazing Sundial. I love it, it''s huge but don''t worry, you need something big to balance out your studs. Problem solved, I remember you were concerned about your diamond necklace (being to small) when you first got your new studs. You don''t have to worry any longer now that you have this serious new bling

Now you are giving me ideas as to what I should do with the diamond in my original e-ring.

Ann my birthdate is 1-18-55 and I believe that we are both celebrating 30th anniversaries in 2007 although mine isn't until June. I look forward to seeing pics of your beautiful new pendant!

Thank you IrishAngel, Belle, Linda, and KC! When you see the pendant in real life it is very clearly not one stone but rather a cluster and that it how I wanted it to look. I think the addition of smaller stones adds more sparkle. It is a different setting than my earrings, but I didn''t really want for them to be too matchy.

ETA: my hubby was born 2/24/55 (I am bad with birthdays, but I remember his cuz he was born on the 55th day of 55....)
