#JOTW Custom Cut Diamond Pendant by Mark Turnowski

For quite some time, I have been pondering what to do with a beautiful emerald cut diamond ring my Grandmother gave me. The stone is just over 1 carat, VS2, I-J in color, and it is beautifully cut. I never wore it, and it made me sad to have it locked away in a box. Thank you to all the Pricescopers who helped guide my decision (you can read my quest here - https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/what-to-do-with-a-1-ct-emerald-cut-diamond.240549/) Mark Turnowski, President of Brilliantly Engaged in NYC, has turned my diamond into an exquisite work of art!

Here is my new diamond pendant, set in white gold. Mark custom cut a diamond surround, bringing the overall size to 12.5 x 10.5 mm... I cannot believe how much more substantial this "halo" makes the stone appear, wow!!! I wanted it to have a streamlined, Art Deco feel, and Mark hit it out of the park!

Mark was absolutely WONDERFUL to work with, I recommend him to anyone looking to do custom work... We are already planning my next project! Thank you, Mark, for creating such a beautiful and sentimental treasure. It is so special to be able to wear my Grandmother's diamond next to my heart.
