I was narrowing down a couple diamonds and ran across this one on JA

One is nearly a $1500 difference between the first two? .... Thoughts?

As someone who's been looking at 3/4ct cushions for the last month, I can say the 74 point stone is way overpriced for a stone that has a bit of a bow tie in the center. Even if it was cut well, it would be overpriced at $3600. Run from this one.

The 80 pointer is a lot more impressive, as it looks like it's cut very well. I can almost see some arrows in some of those photos. Are you able to get ASET photos of this stone? Their photo lighting looks a bit unnatural, so I might want something more objective. If the cut checks out, I'd say the stone is worth $3000 or so.

That JA stone is significantly smaller than the two others you linked (check the dimensions). That said, it looks good if you want to get it ASET'd and potentially save yourself a bunch of cash.

Is there a reason you're intent on VVS clarity?

No Intent on VVS GoSounders, I really love that setting they have availavle, and of course they want me to pair it with one of their diamonds, and those 2 just happened to be in VVS clarity.

I wasn't able to get an ASET on it either as David at DBL says he doesen't do that with the cushions.
