Help me please!

I have decided on a small cushion cut diamond 1 to 1.25 ct and I want the smallest pave setting possible. I looked at WF and those are my gf''s fav so far. My fav. is the Ritani but my gf does not like the extra halo business. Once I find the setting, I am going to take all of your advice and have Mark at ERD pick the diamond and set it up.

Can you provide some pictures of 2mm erings (preferably smaller) with a matching wedding ring? I would really like it smaller than 2mm and that is where I am having touble. I have looked though most of the threads and seen quite a few options but I can''t find the perfect setting. I am going koo koo looking.

Since I am so desperate, I would like to provide an incentive to the winner. To the winner, I am offering a round of golf at Southern Hill Country Club in Tulsa. Host of several PGA Championships (Tiger won ''07) and several US Opens. If your not a golfer, can you please find the time to help a man in love find his rings?

I don't golf, but do loooove cushions. What's the budget? And re: the Ritani, there are ones without halos, so perhaps you can provide links to the ones that you like and folks can help you get what you want. SilverLily has a Ritani Endless Love with a (big) cushion but without the halo, and the pave band is very dainty. You can also have Leon Mege at Art of Platinum make you a custom setting that will be under 2mm wide. For safety's sake, you may want to stay at 1.8mm or 2, both of which look plenty delicate and will still make the center stone pop.

Thank you both. Funny, Michael B is where I first started and that Ritani is exactly what I want without the Halo. Maybe I don''t know what a halo is but those little pave Diamonds underneath the center stone which I love...my gf does not.

Funny again, after endless research...Leon is where I am going if I cannot find a pre made ering.

Budget: I would like to spend 2.5k (whiteflash) for ering and wedding band...but the budget is around 4k.

How much is Leon?

I see, so she doesn't want pave on the basket, just the shank. Gotcha. I'll see if I can round up a few more links for ya.

ETA - I would see if Whiteflash can do the Ritani without pave on the basket. From what I've seen, their custom work is FANTASTIC, and you can follow the process step by step. A Leon setting like what you mention, with a single row of pave would probably be in the $2500 range give or take. Scarlet16 just had her YUMMY cushion set by Leon and it's TDF, but the buttercup basket she has is probably better suited to the 1.5+ carat size.

BTW, 2mm is smaller than you think. It is teensy tiny; and for me, I don''t think I could go smaller. You must consider the wearability of the piece as well as the asthetics. K?

icantwait,

I have this set from James Allen that may be similar to what you are looking for. It is 2.1 mm. I have been very pleased and they were fantastic to work with!

Here is a picture of my set...

As Pixley mentioned, I have an awesome cushion from ERD in a beautiful pave band setting w/ buttercup head from Leon. Here''s soprano''s set the other way (but without pave on the band). https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/thanks-pricescope-markt-cushion-leon-setting-quest-band.71222/

If you will be working with Mark, though, I would ask him if he could do the Ritani w/out pave around the head. His custom pieces are pretty amazing as well. I saw some CADs that he did recently and they are pretty incredible. I agree with the others, I would stay at 1.8mm at the smallest. When I was looking I REALLY debated as to whether to go smaller, and I am so glad didn''t.
