Finally we can get our stones. We have been waiting until now and have not been in any hurry. Although we are getting married June 14th. So we better get busy....


Assuming these are eye clean, that is a must. Anyone care to help us by giving us your thoughts?

We will go as low as a K as long as the stone is nothing less than excellent GIA or ideal cut AGS.

SI2 does not bother us as long as it is eyeclen ( I know they are out there )

Getting the largest stone possible, we want to stay under 4500, I know these are slightly higher in price

Open to help in finding others that would work as well

I do not hear much about Pearlmans finding ppl stones. Anyone have Pearlmans hunt a stone for you?

I LOVE the GOG stone!! A K with medium blue fluoro, yum! Cut looks beautiful and clarity is very good also. If I were making the choice between these two, it would be an easy one.

They both look good, I would ask JA for an Idealscope image of the diamond and as you say check both are eyeclean to your standards by asking the respective vendors.

Yes, Pearlman''s does they have found some nice stones for folks on here, their website isn''t geared toward that, but you can call them and ask them to source for you.

Ha, that GOG stone is very similiar to mine - K, SI1, similiar size..
I'm sure based on that it will be a winner,

So GOG gets my vote, and ditto on their policies.

Question for you

How much warmth do you see from the side view of your gorgeous stone? From the pics of your stone it is minimal at best. Can you tell me what you see in yours?

o thats right, thanks upgradeable. gosh I hope she is fine with all the fires raging there. I have friends in Maroopna in Victoria and they have a vacation home (cabin)in Eildon that is under threat from Fire. It sounds just terrible there.
