Not sure if this is against forum rules and don''t want to turn this into a pricescope vs diamondtalk thread, but do the moderators/vendors over at diamondtalk work together to create a "revisionist" type history? A newbie over there posts asking about blue nile''s signature line and diamondsbylauren posts a comment inferring that you are going to get aa bad diamond by buying from a "dropshipper". While I''m all for getting a lot of info on a diamond (I bought through GOG), I''ve come to accept a large part of the population doesn''t care about pavilion angles, idealscopes, etc and is just happy knowing the 4 c''s of their diamond. Anyways, I post a comment calling out diamondsbylauren stating that the diamonds are owned by bluenile (hence the laser inscription) and then proceed to mention a couple of vendors in the NOVA area (the person mention they lived in VA) that are worth checking out. Well I check the thread a couple of days later, my post is deleted and the original post by diamondsbylauren is edited as if they never said bluenile was a dropshipper (I didn''t even critize them or any of the vendors in my post). Is this typical behavior over there? A simple yes/no answer would be interesting to see.
