I think I am actually going to go with 14K or 18K white gold instead of platinum for the setting. I will probably be using diamonds, and just not having them go all the way around the bottom of the band as they do in the picture. The center stone I think is going to be a 9mmx7mm blue or yellow sapphire (whose origin I will not mention for fear of another reprimand from admin). I''m still waiting for an official quote from the jeweler for the setting, and he is going to bring the stones in for me to look at as well.
