Hello everybody in this forum. I admire all experts and stone-lovers here and I read this every thread.

I am collector and I like to buy different stones. sometimes I sell my stone and buying new one.

Now it's time to sell my 5.31 sapphire from Burma. It's unheated and it's colour-change in incandescent light(!!!). I have never met any others stones with same parameters and so I ask you ladies and gentlemen: what's your price range for this stone?

Ordinary; sell it to me for $1K USD.

Thank you for your opinion but " a lot" for somebody it's 200$ and for less group it's 200,000$ :) can you explain with more words?
In Baselworld people were half to half but their business is to sell their stones and promote their stones that's why I am asking your thoughts:)

Stone-lovers from East setting 3000$ Per ct. for this stone and my opinion it's too low. Sri-Lanka good quality sapphires sold by this price but they have no fluorescence.. Am I wrong?

That seems low (just based on this one). Unfortunately I imagine that at that size, someone probably needs to get a really good idea of the colour to give you an accurate estimate (especially given the provenance and the fact that it is unheated).

Have you considered getting an AGL prestige full-grading report with the full colour grading? Then it might be easier to get a lock on the price. As you could get widely different estimates depending on how different people evaluate the colour (it would suck if you sold it for a really low price, because someone looked at it on a bad computer monitor or under poor lighting and decided it wasn't that special. And it will be frustrating if we all give you weirdly different estimates because we all use different computer monitors, and cause that pic is tiny :)).)

I offer 1k plus $1 over chrono!

It depends on the colour of the stone, hard to gauge from the report.

Unfortunately this is the best photo which I get for now.
Stone is eye-clean and has only a little inclusion. Christies evaluate as 15k per ct today so I am happy:)

Vadi, sorry for being so short, there is site called 'nationalgemforcaster' or so, here: http://www.preciousgemstones.com/
They have a small but extra fine selection of high-end gems. You may find a similar one there.
