I have been looking for a nice bracelet for my wife for anniversary and bday gift. I don’t want the Cartier Love bracelet because everyone has one. I almost decided on the Hermes Kelly bracelet with black stones but realized the brand is evil and greedy so don’t want to support. Her style is elegant and classy. I think Vancleave and our pal’s best suits your style but I couldn’t find any nice bracelets that I thought was worth it in my price range. I’m willing to spend around 10k

Someone mentioned Graff but I think those are too expensive and didn’t see anything suitable other than maybe a rose gold spiral bracelet which is probably out of budget. Anything else?

Do you have a preference on style or metal color? Types or colors of stones? Thin, thick bangle, link, etc?

Faberge? Not sure about how evil they may be but they have some interesting bracelets and are more unique than hermès.

Vintage / antique?

More people will come by to help I'm sure. =)2

I was thinking rose gold. Thin is preferable. Something girly yet classy and elegant. Not too thick or heavy.

That is a good budget and it comes down to individual preferences of course but if I had that to spend on a bracelet I would want to find a unique vintage diamond bangle bracelet. And part of the fun is the hunt. I would visit all the fine vintage/antique jewelry shops I know and put the word out with each of them and see what I could find. They have vintage designer brands at these shops too and you could really score a gorgeous antique designer piece within your budget.

I’d prefer a major brand. I have looked at Hermes (their jewelry isn’t worth the price imo), Cartier, VCA, Piaget, Bvlgari, HW, Graff, Chopard but haven’t seen anything that caught my eye either. She prefers simple and can be worn everyday.

If you want to go high-end, not too mainstream but still with brand-name recognition I do really like the faberge rococo open bracelet above (4k), pretty, dainty feminine

they also have this one (7k) faberge treillage which is pretty and a little less ornate, more every day wearable

and i love this one (overbudget at 12.5k) buccellati macri...buccellati's florentine style is iconic & pretty recognizable just by the look of it if that factors in to the decision-making

jewelry designer specific:
for a more modern, fun option here's a bangle by suzanne kalan (tilted baguette bangle 7.4k)

harry winston etc. rose gold bracelets in this price range look pretty boring by comparison to my eyes. granted i am just window shopping and haven't seen these in person. are any of these in the right direction?

Looks like a thinner width (5mm) is available on-budget for $9k

i don't but there is a thread on signed pieces that has some discussion of higher end brands. i would expect/demand nothing but the most impeccable quality at these price points to be honest.

nice find!

Sorry for all the photos, but man is this a great look! 3f15aea50628c41703a0938eacbacdb4.jpg 14e4b368293b01134403c8a551a155ac.jpg 9e71ece51d53c32fd582c80d9221d6b9.jpg 922706_ou_pp.jpg

I'm thinking if your wife liked the bracelet enough, you could have options to get her a matching ring later on too, or more bracelets to stack! They all look superb together!
A very high-end, classy look.

I don’t know anything about Bucellati. How does their craftsmanship compare to the Cartiers and Van Cleefs and Harry Winston’s of the world? Same discussion or one level down?

Seamann Schepps WWW - the pieces will be recognized & called out too.

1stDibs is a sort of aggregator of old school shops - the curation is ferocious.

...

& some pastry WWW

They are considered more exclusive but i don't know if anything changed whem the house was purchased by i-can't-remember-which luxury goods company. The family still runs it.

I was just in NYC this weekend and stopped by Harry Winston, where I and another customer one case over from me were both treated very rudely. The experience rubbed my best friend such the wrong way that we promptly left for Cartier. She insists that I take my business to Cartier from here forward. Sad bc I love Winston designs.

The experience and service was exponentially better at Cartier- a MILLION times better. While I was there I tired on the newly launched Clash bracelet, in rose gold. Beautiful and had a neat feel to it, part of the gold design "moves" if you touch it. Hard to describe, but a very unique piece.

The above Cartier rose gold bangle is nice -especially since you gravitate to rose gold.

If you have $10,000 to spend, I'd get to a Van Cleef and Arpels. Beautiful pieces, very classic. I have a rose gold vintage Alhambra bracelet and I love it.

I would troll some estate sales -on line or in shops. I find that some of the yellow gold bracelets are really unique and the work to be really nice.
