Both for different reasons. Thin for a touch of bling and every day glamour. Chunky for making a blingy wrist statement for when I am feeling more bold and also for dressier occasions. But I could easily wear chunky diamonds on my wrist for every day wear too. Just depends on my mood.

I have had bezel-set tennis bracelets in 3mm stones for a number of years, currently on my third one with simulants, and have finally plunged for a diamond version last year, 5cttw with H/I colour and SI2 stones.

It is a good size for me as a stacker, as it is too thin on its own on my chunky wrist.

This is probably my favourite stack:

I have not cast my vote, as I do not know what is meant by low or high carat total weight (ctw), sorry!

Ha ha me either! I would like one btw 5 and 7 tcw, depending on my mood and sense of budget. I saw a very thin one at the Last Line and seriously loved it, though....

Very thin ones would just disappear on my wrist.

I am plus size and very much an extrovert - dainty accessories and jewellery do not suit me.

5 ctw...can be used in a stack but still has enough presence to be worn alone

I have a 5ctw which I only wear on "dressy" occasions, but would love to get a 2-3 ctw for everyday wear/stacking.

Personally, my sweet spot would be a tennis bracelet with stones 0.3-0.4ct each (which translates to ~9-10ctw I think?), while I would love something bigger, I think 0.3-0.4 would be a size I could wear casually and formally. I could wear a bracelet with v small stones too, super happily, but my sweet spot is 0.3-0.4ct each stone.

That's my sweet spot too!

I think it depends on one’s wrist size, lifestyle, clothing style and personal preference. When I got mine about 15 years ago, I tried on different sizes. 3-4 ctw seemed a bit too thin and 7+ ctw too much bling for my everyday wear. So I settled on 6 ctw. I can wear it to work or for more formal occasions. I think it also depends on the setting—some makes it looks larger or thinner as well as whether or not it will be worn stacked or alone.

HI:

The only diamond bracelet I have left is my bangle. It is small--3ctw--but sparkles like mad and (IMHO) looks like a million bucks. I wouldn't wear a larger diamond bracelet anymore.

Now if it were strictly a gold bracelet--that would be an entire matter altogether. The Bigger, chunkier and heavier, the better!

cheers--Sharon

I have large chunky tennis bracelet and I absolutely love it. I also have diamond bangles with lower carat size and I find them more suitable for day to day and stacking. The tennis bracelet is new so I haven’t had time to wear it out

Personally I prefer thin/ slender and lower carat weight. I don’t think I can really pull off a larger carat look. I think it will look fake on me. I do have a few diamond bracelets and I like to mix and match them. My largest carat weight is 3 ctw but they are set in squares so they look larger than they really are. I only wear it when I’m going to fancy events.
I prefer pave set bracelets for the most part.
