Chrysoberyl ring- help needed with halo design

I have bought this 6.5mm chrysoberyl and 2mm pink spinel melee (12 pcs) from DesertRose. I would to do a halo with the spinels but am unsure how to make it have a bit more oomph. One idea was to maybe do a double halo, diamonds next to the chrysoberyl and the pink spinel on the outside.

Happy to oblige, and pardon my photography, as usual taking good pictures of gemstones is so hard.
