I found a .65 ct cushion cut I'm considering buying ( ill post performance pics when I get them)

I want to set it in something that doesn't look like an e ring. Preferably in YG due to the low color of the store. Any idea where I can find a cheap setting that doesn't scream e ring like a solitaire setting does? I would be open to used

I know the color is low but I really like the facetting

niel - you might try over in the colored stones forum (or maybe somebody from over there will chime in here). There are one or two ebay semi-mount sellers that a lot of the colored stone aficionados have used with good results.

A lot of jewelry stores have close outs in yellow gold. You should be able to find some good deals if you look around.

What interesting faceting! Why don't you tell us what your budget is? That way we have a better idea where to point you.

That's what I thought too! My budget is basically dirt cheap. I like the stone but this is more of a side project. Im having my e ring made and I don't get to keep it when I get it because he wants to " pop the question"
.... Which is totally torture.
I like that lucida type setting from James Allen but its like the same price as the stone. I'd probably just pick the $180 knife edge one but my e ring is a ritani endless love pear with a plain shank. It's so modern I feel like they wouldn't match. I'd put it in a necklace but I'd want to wear it every day and where I work its so cold I always wear scarves haha. Wouldn't be seen :(
