Channel Set Help!

Hello Everyone,
I have decided to get a channel set engagment ring but have a question before i purchase. I have already purchased a Princess cut diamond. That being said do I need to get the channel setting with princess cut diamonds in it as well or can i go with round. Here are the 2 bands that i am looking at. I prefer the one with the round stones in it but i can't tell if it will look funny with a princess cut center stone.

People around here mix and match all the time.

What does your princess ring you already have look like? Certain styles look better together, so without knowing what it looks like we can't really give an opinion.

I have a princess cut stone only (no ring yet). I am trying to determine which setting to get. If I have a princess cut as a center stone will round channel set stones look odd since they are not the same shape.

For what it's worth I think it would look nice with the rounds.

The advantage of a princess cut channel is no gaps in between the diamonds, cleaner.
