Changing from Yellow Gold to White Gold?

Hi, I got married ten years ago I thought yellow gold was the bomb! But now, I see all these beautiful white metal rings and I am very tempted to change my rings. Has anyone every plated their rings? How long does it last? How much does it costs? I love my settings, just the color...Thanks...

I too have a lot of yellow gold jewelry and now I prefer the white metals. I just had an 18 kt.yellow gold opal ring rhodium plated and it looks fantastic! My jeweler said that it will depend on body chemistry and wear as to how long the finish lasts. I know others on this site have also had this done.
