Let me go ahead and apologize for all the links I'm about to post. It frustrates me to only be able to post one picture per, so I figured links would be easier!

That said - there's been a change of plans. Right now a setting, center stone and band are just not realistic for us as our son was recently sick with pneumonia - after the deductible our saving's just aren't what they were (though I'd much rather have a healthy son than a ring!). On top of that we're paying for our own wedding (in August) and balance due dates are getting nearer. SO, I've opted to get a Beverley K floral ring and use one of her thin diamond bands as the wedding band.

I really love this rose gold floral from Dimend .. and it's 25% off!

If I was to get that one I'd use a white gold band like this one ..

Pearlman's site is down right now so I can't get good pictures off of their site.

I love all of BK's floral rings - and she has a TON - and I love them in the white gold just as much.

I'm torn whether I should do the RG floral with a WG band or the WG floral with the RG band. I've never seen a thin RG band like the WG one that I posted which is what I would like, but I do like this one ..

What combination would you find more appealing?

Thanks!

ETA: Is it strange to use a floral as an engagement?! I've never seen anyone use a band for an engagement ring ..

You can use whatever you''d like as an ering. Those floral bands are really pretty. Pearlman''s site must still be down though - can''t access the one through his site.

My other thought was for you to purchase a stone like the one you were talking about and just put it in a very standard setting for now. You could pair that with a plain band or a diamond band like the one you linked. Then, down the road, if the finances are in better shape, you could reset the stone into a setting that you love or you could upgrade the diamond.

The band idea is beautiful but it gives you no change/upgrade options. Perhaps you don''t want to change it - just a thought!

Thank you for the response!

I was thinking that I''d upgrade and use the floral band as a RHR .. that way I''d still be able to wear it! I was also considering doing 2 floral bands .. the thicker one (5mm) for my engagement and a thinner (3mm) for my wedding band but I don''t want it to be overkill. The more I think about it, I''d prefer the thinner band to begin with, as I have skinny and long fingers .. I wonder if I could order a thin band in rose gold if that''s what I chose to do? I''ll have to ask about that.

My fiance is a strange sort and after seeing the rose gold he''s decided that he loves it, it''s unique - though it seems to be the new trend - and that atleast one of my rings has to be it. I don''t mind, I love it, but I''ve never seen it in real life. Anyways, I was screwing with him and sent him a picture of a rose gold wedding band .. and he wants it! I couldn''t believe it .. but like I said, he''s strange!

Perhaps I''d be better off using a rose gold thin band (I''ve found some after searching PS) as my wedding band so that we''ll have semi-matching bands .. and I''ll be able to pair it with whatever upgrade I end up getting. Yes?

Ok, I have to say first of all that I''m not a big RG fan but after seeing the rings you like I think the floral RG band with
the WG eband would be very pretty. Later you could put another WG eband on the other side. Or when you decide
to get a solitare you can wear the RG as a RHR and wear the WG eband with your solitare. That would give you lots
of future options. Glad your son is doing better.

I know that there is a matching engagement ring for the floral one. Is it an option to go with the wedding band as an engagement, and then get the engagement ring later? I like the rose gold and white gold in the floral, white gold better in the eternity.

This is a shot of the BK engagement ring that matches the floral band. It''s 5mm and around $1500 without the center stone. Just an idea.

I like the matching e-ring but the 2 together would be just too wide for me.

I found these rose gold eternity bands ..

which I like a lot better than the Dimend that I posted.

I''d like to eventually upgrade to this Tacori setting .. (for now .. my mind is always changing!)

so really, both WG and RG would work well as a WB to that setting.

I''ve e-mailed Julian from Pearlman''s inquiring if they have any of the floral or vine rings in the showroom so hopefully he''ll be able to show me the different combinations!
