Hey Everyone,

I''m new to this site but have a question about a ring I''m trying to put together.

I''ve fallen in love with an 18K gold pave setting with diamonds only on the band, not around the center stone. The diamonds in the setting have a D color grade (.45ct total). The center stone I''m looking at will probably be a G or H (about 1 ct) but I''m worried that the setting diamonds will make the center stone look less white.

Generally, do you prefer to match center stones with the pave stones in terms of color?

I''m sorry if this is too much of a newbie question!

My center stone is a K and my sides and band stones are H-I. I think you will be fine.

I'm in the minority here but I like to keep the side stones within 2 color grades. That said, I'm sure it'll be fine. Good luck!
