Cartier trinity--anyone have the diamond version?

Hi,

I am thinking about purchasing a Cartier trinity ring and haven't seen many around with the diamond bands. If I can find one in budget with a diamond band or three diamond bands what do you think? Is it comfortable? Pretty ? Or not really the classic look and just stick to plain bands? Thanks!

How about both? Go with the Cartier plain rolling ring, and get a non branded rolling ring with diamonds

I have the classic trinity and I love it, but a mom at my daughter's school has the all diamond pave ring and I cannot take my eyes off of it.
I stopped in the Cartier in Lausanne thinking I would have my watch serviced and try on the ring...well they don't have an in-house bench and were a bit busy so I'll stop in Geneva when I'm next there....but I am bracing to fall in love.
From the frequent sightings I've had - the ring is incredible.
I hope if someone on PS has one they'll share their experience.

That is so funny! I was thinking of purchasing the traditional then saw someone at parent orientation for my son's university with a diamond version(not the pave but the bead set) it was beautiful, I couldn't take my eyes off of it! I literally did a double take! Now I think I would love that and have found one preloved that I think is my size. I want to know if they are as comfortable and fun to play with as the traditional. Please comment if you have one plus add a pic pretty please!

Having tried on both the all-diamond Trinity and the Cartier "One" where only the white gold band is pave, I much prefer the smoothness of the "One" and although the diamonds are more like a dusting of ice, it sparkles like mad. I sold my plain Trinity a few years back because it was too wide to wear in a stack, and have been thinking of getting another vintage one in a very slim diameter at some point. I wish they made the "One" in a 2mm size, but alas.

my husband is 5000 miles away on a business trip and I can still feel his eyes rolling at the mention of another band. I'm going to look forward to photos and enjoy vicariously.
