Hi guys, quick question...
I bought a new Cartier trinity ring, directly from a Cartier store, this June. I recently noticed that only in the yellow gold band there appears to be a seam. It's a straight line that cuts across the width of the band. It's very subtle and only visible upon close inspection but now that I've seen it, I can spot it almost instantly when I look for it. You can just tell there is a slight variation there. I do not believe it is a scratch - and I have not gotten it sized. The other two bands look perfectly fine.
Is this possible? Why would there be a visible seam in a new Cartier ring? Their store is about an hour drive for me so I don't know if it's worth driving up to have them look at it, or what they might say about it. 95% of normal people probably wouldn't notice it or care if it was there, but now that I've seen it, it really irritates me, since it was a real "treat" purchase for me and I just expected Cartier quality to be perfect.
Anyway, any ideas or info, please let me know what you think!
