Cartier love ring

I just bought my second hand Cartier love ring yesterday. I personally think it’s fine and the paperwork does match the serial number- just looking for some piece of mind because I’m not in a place where I can afford to be scammed. Thanks

It's very hard to tell. There are many, many fakes out there, some very bad, some very professionally made. If you wan't to be 100% sure I'd always recommend to buy first hand at a Cartier store. It's expensive but then second hand Cartier pieces are as well. If you buy second hand you need to live with a risk, that the ring might not be authentic, but it might only be a minimal risk and the main thing is that you love the piece and wear it in good health!

^^ This. Over the years I have seen some Cartier copies that I would have out money on being genuine. But if you love it & are happy with it, then don't worry about it. It's a gorgeous ring!

Cartier does not authenticate in store BUT if you Take it in to A Cartier store and ask to have it polished they will tell you at that point if it’s real or not.

Hello! Looking at this ring on Poshmark...I understand that fakes can be very good. Just wondering on opinions regarding the markings on the ring and certificate? The authentic love certificate seems to be more detailed with cursive writing,
This one seems a lot shorter. I’m tempted by the price but worries about spending money on a fake. Any red flags? Thanks

Hi there. So I own this pave ring in the wedding band size YG and this is not the order of my markings. I actually own three love rings total and they don’t look like the above. All purchased from the boutique. All came with a LOVE collection Cartier authenticity certificate. Which I know can vary sometimes.

Thanks for your response! The location also seems to be Narita terminal one which as per google search is common with fakes.
