Well…I should have stated it better but my gf’s ring size is 4, not finger size and I definitely can’t afford to go to 4 ct LOL.
Shape is going to be round for sure. Looking at one at 1.26 ct but thinking about going up to 1.4.

1. you think the SI1 would still be eye clean? i've looking for >VS2 and am trying to avoid inclusion on the table but open to options.
2. as far as i know, gf would like to rock to be as white as possible, you think H would be too yellowish?

And one of the things I read was if I color is the lowest color you should go if you are setting the diamond on white gold since the yellowish will get amplified by the relative whiteness the ring…is that valid?
oooh...the ideal setting would be a simple tiffany solitaire. haven't decided on 4/6 prongs but feel like 6 prongs are too much for a 1.2-1.3 ct round. but then i feel like 6 prongs are safer than 4 prongs (more prongs = lessly likely to fall out???...is that even true??![]()
)
as for metal, i heard the price premium of platinum is totally not worth it. its only cos its rarer and in fact white gold is more durable. not sure...haven't had time to reserach on that...

and so last night i started including H in my search on JA, WF, B2C (my preference order), and i couldn't find any H that i like. it looks to me there are much more choices of E-G than H! i wonder why?? i mean the price difference b/n G and H is like $1K..that is like 0.1 ct more for her you know??

My gf has a size 4 finger and I am wondering what would be a good size on her finger…of coz she’d want a big one but not bulky![]()
